Building requirements
Controlworks was contracted to design and install a central plant upgrade to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system at St George Private Hospital to keep up with the increasing HVAC demands.
As a leading provider of HVAC solutions, Controlworks was tasked with designing and installing a new system that would meet the hospital's specific needs. To achieve this, the team had to integrate the new system with the existing infrastructure and make it more efficient and reliable.
Our solution
Controlworks delivered an effective and efficient Building Management Control System (BMCS) for St George Private Hospital. The system was designed to provide energy efficiency and cost savings for the hospital and improve occupant comfort.
The BMCS consists of web-based software to manage and monitor the hospital’s HVAC equipment. The software uses data from the hospital’s energy management system to provide real-time information on energy usage and costs. It also allows the hospital to set up automatic controls for the HVAC equipment based on occupancy levels and weather conditions. In addition, the system provides alerts if there are any problems with the HVAC equipment.
The result
St George Private Hospital worked with several mechanical services companies and Controlworks to design and install a central plant upgrade to their heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. As a leading provider of HVAC solutions with a team of highly skilled staff, Controlworks was up to the task.
The team had to integrate the new system with the existing infrastructure and make it more efficient and reliable. The finished product not only met but exceeded the hospital's expectations.
The upgraded HVAC system at St George Private Hospital has resulted in better air quality and more comfortable temperatures for patients, visitors and staff. The new system is much more efficient and can also better regulate temperatures, so patients are not too hot or too cold.
The hospital has also been able to save money and reduce its carbon footprint. The BMCS has helped to improve indoor air quality for patients and staff. Overall, the system has had a positive impact on the hospital's day-to-day operations as well as the health of its occupants.
