ControlWorks recently partnered with Smart Air to design and install a Building Management System with a centralised Distech Niagara 4 web based graphical user interface to control and monitor the HVAC equipment within the Bank of Sydney Building.
Company Overview
The Bank of Sydney building is located at 62 Pitt St Sydney, in a prime location in the Sydney CBD’s financial core. The building consists of seven floors of office space and two ground floor retail premises.
Bank of Sydney Solution – Building Automation System
Bank of Sydney appointed Smart Air to manage and install the HVAC systems. ControlWorks utilized the services of our group of companies, Powerlink Solutions for BMCS installation and sourced all controllers and peripherals from ControlStore.
ControlWorks installed an easy-to-use web-based graphical user interface to control the following:
o 2 air handling units
o 2 chillers
o 14 fan coil units
o 24 VAVs
Outcome
ControlWorks Building Management System allows the maintenance management team to operate the HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis. Real time monitoring and alarm management of all HVAC equipment provide the customer with the ability to control the building effectively.
